Creating art has always been one of my hearts desires.  It began at an early age while sitting at my Grandpa Donald's desk.  He patiently taught me perspective.  I was the only 1st grader to draw a house that didn't look like a box.  My parents, family and teachers spurred me on.  Art was to become part of my life and I was fascinated with everything associated with it.  I took every art class that was offered and eventually graduated with honors from Northern Michigan University.

To grow as an artist, I worked as an intern in a local art center, an art consultant for a nationally known gallery in Minneapolis and also owned my own art gallery.  The insight and inspiration gained from working with so many extremely creative artists and business people was an education in itself.

Over the years I have entered art competitions and have participated in numerous juried exhibits and area art shows.  I've enjoyed the privilege of being juried into a national show for the Knickerbocker Artist's - New York at the historic Salmagundi Club with one of my more abstract pastel paintings, titled "Symphony of Color".

Every media is a temptation for me to explore and I will continue as long as I can pick up a paint brush, pencil or piece of chalk.  Printmaking and handmade paper are other areas I have enjoyed working in.  Please enjoy the collage of work I've put together for you to see. (Gallery Originals)

New and exciting ideas are brewing and I hope to have more prints coming your way.

More than anything else my hope and prayer is that my art will inspire, bless and uplift each and everyone of you.
